The 19th Annual Heartland MG Regional will be held on Friday June 13 and Saturday June 14, 2008 at the Santa Fe Commons Park on 81st Street and Santa Fe Drive in downtown Overland Park, Kansas.  The Holiday Inn - Mission/Overland Park is the host hotel and our free Friday night cookout will be in their parking lot.  Register by May 13th for the special room rate of  $79.00.  After May 13th the rate is $99.00.

We'll kick off the day with our popular Pancakes in the Park again this year. It will take place at Santa Fe Commons before the show starts. The charity for this year's support is SAFEHOME, and the guest marque will be the Kansas City Triumph Club. The Show Awards will be distributed immediately after the show at the Santa Fe Commons Gazebo.

DOWNTOWN OVERLAND PARK DAYS

JUNE 14, 2008

Downtown Overland Park Days is scheduled for Saturday, June 14, 2008 in the Historic Downtown Overland Park area, On Santa Fe Drive between 79th and 80th Streets and 80th Street between Santa Fe and Marty. The general event is FREE to the public.

 This one day visual arts and crafts exhibition includes creative works including a diverse array of paintings, sculptures, antiques, textiles, crafts, tapestry, art, jewelry, oil paintings, ink drawing, silkscreen, photography, design and digital painting, porcelain, and more. Food vendors will also be on site.

 New to the event this year is a children’s area, complete with moonwalks, cotton candy, sno-cones, and face painters.. The children’s area will be located in the vicinity of 80th Street and Marty.

Shuttle busses will provide transportation to the event from the Shawnee Mission West High School parking lot, located on Antioch at 85th Street.

The Farmers Market is open this day from 6:30am – sellout.

There is live music at the Clock Tower, Eddie Delahunt from 10-12,  Vince Bilardo from 12:30-2:30 and The Hatchlings from  3-5
